Dental implant marketing: why video closes the cases ads alone can’t
By Alfredo Ferras,
An implant case is the biggest dental decision most patients will ever make, and nobody makes it from a coupon. This is what moves them, in the order they need it.
Implant patients choose the dentist first
A cleaning is a commodity. An implant is surgery, and patients treat it that way. Before they compare prices they decide who they would let do it. Your marketing has one job before any other, which is to let them see and hear you.
The four videos every implant practice needs
Start with the question you hear in every consultation: does it hurt? Answer it on camera in under a minute. Then record what the process looks like from the first visit to the final tooth, who is a candidate and who is not, and how implants compare with dentures and bridges. Those four answers cover most of what a patient searches before calling.
Why a phone clip is not enough
Patients judge your clinical standards by the things they can evaluate, and video quality is one of them. Poor light and bad sound suggest a practice that cuts corners, fairly or not. A scripted video recorded in a studio says the opposite before you finish your first sentence.
Facebook ads for implant cases
Implant ads work when they offer the next small step and leave the surgery for later. A consultation, a 3D scan or a second opinion is easier to say yes to than a treatment plan. Put the dentist on camera, speak to one worry and send the lead to a short form that asks about the missing teeth and the timeline.
What to measure
Count consultations booked and cases accepted, and compare them with what you spent. Views tell you the video is being seen. Booked consultations tell you it is working.
